Dry before use: the natural wood contained in the filament increases moisture absorption. Dry immediately after opening to ensure consistent print quality and finish.
Equipment and storage: although vacuum-sealed during shipping, transport-related variations can affect humidity. Store in an airtight container with desiccants or AMS and dry before long-term storage.
Drying guidelines: 55 ± 5 °C for 8 hours in a drying oven or 65–75 °C for 12 hours in an X1 chamber. Color and shade variations may appear depending on the drying level and raw material batches.
Impact and odor: during printing, Wood PLA releases a light natural wood scent, non-irritating and non-toxic.
