High Temp Carbon Fiber (CF25) filament is compatible with virtually all desktop 3D printers, such as Makerbot, Prusa, Ender, and many others. It can also be heat-treated to further enhance its physical properties. This is achieved by simply heating the part to a temperature of 80 to 130 °C for 30 minutes, either by submerging it in hot water or by baking it in an oven.
Like all nylons, keeping Performance Amide 6,6 filament dry is crucial. Store it in its packaging with desiccants to prevent moisture absorption, which could degrade print quality. If necessary, reheat it to 85°C for 4 to 6 hours to dry it before use.
