Discover our Natural - 1.75mm 3DXTech FibreX™ PEI+GF30 Glass Fiber ULTEM™ Filament - 0.25kg , a revolutionary 3D printing filament designed for the most demanding applications. Made from ULTEM™ 1010 PEI resin reinforced with 30% glass fibers, this material offers exceptional thermal properties, remarkable dimensional stability, and unmatched flame resistance. Thanks to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C, this filament is ideal for creating robust parts capable of withstanding high temperatures.

Exceptional features

  • High thermal resistance: Glass transition temperature at 217°C and a heat distortion temperature of 212°C.
  • Flame Resistance Properties: Inherent fire resistance for safe applications.
  • Dimensional stability: Low heat sensitivity, ensuring reproducible part dimensions.
  • Excellent rigidity: Exceptional strength and rigidity, even at high temperatures.
  • Chemical Resistance: Resists a wide range of chemicals, including automotive fluids and hydrocarbons.

Notice of use

For optimal results, we recommend using a hard steel nozzle with a diameter of at least 0.4mm, as this filament is particularly abrasive. The extrusion temperature setting should be between 370 and 390°C, with a bed temperature of 120 to 160°C to avoid warping. A heated printing environment is strongly recommended to reduce part warping.

Ideal applications

This fiberglass filament is ideal for projects requiring high strength and rigidity, making it highly sought after in the automotive, mechanical, and civil engineering industries. Its unique combination of mechanical and thermal properties makes it a compelling choice for research and development applications.
